We are very disappointed ..... after confirmation of a regulars' table, a short time later received a rejection ..... Reason Oldtimers would not fit into the concept I've never heard such a quark ..... I think that other guests would have been happy about oldtimers

Under new owners, which I unfortunately couldn't try out as often as I wanted during Corona times. I went here once for lunch, the schnitzel and roast pork and side dishes were delicious. Otherwise I was only there for a few cider or coffee and cake. The cake was delicious too. And I should mention that the staff is very attentive and friendly.

Very nice location with friendly staff. The menu is extensive and there are also many different daily specials. For vegetarians the selection is also above average, which was very pleasing for us. We will come back in any case.

We celebrated our wedding in this beautiful location in August. The tenant took a lot of time for us even in the planning. The service was perfect, very attentive but never intrusive The food was tasty and sufficient Our special requests were also gladly fulfilled All of our guests were very enthusiastic, felt very comfortable and are also happy to recommend this location. We thank this great team, that contributed to making this day so wonderfully successful and special. Thank you, we will be happy to come back again and again.

Last week we celebrated our wedding in the location Zum Wilden Esel and we are absolutely thrilled! The celebration rounded off our day perfectly and our expectations were exceeded! Short-term change requests were responded to flexibly and our wellbeing was always in the foreground! The food was amazing and the friendly service staff has to be highlighted! Every wish was read from our lips! And for us the most important thing, all guests felt comfortable in the ambience and praised us for the choice of location and the great food! The location is absolutely recommendable! That was definitely not our last celebration in the location!

The food was delicious and the prices were okay, the employees were sometimes great, but the opposite was also available. Can then sometimes miss the stay.

We were guests here today. We had 3 meals, 2 times the brewery pan and once the schnitzel with cooked cheese. Visually everything was very appealing, unfortunately all 3 meals were not really hot. So not even lukewarm. We made the waitress aware of this and they wanted to speak to the kitchen. That's it then. When paying, they apologized to us. At the next table we noticed that the food wasn't really warm either. Unfortunately we left with the feeling that we have now spent 50 euros on a failed Sunday meal, a shame.

Food used to be great here, but unfortunately it is no longer. It seemed unkind and the taste was not convincing. The service staff definitely had the first day in this job, otherwise the performance is difficult to explain. Actually, I always liked to eat here, especially because there is a lot of space and opportunities for children to play outside. Dear donkey team, please come back to your former glory

Very great location, children can let off steam in the playground opposite with a climbing wall, the observation tower invites you to run up, dogs are welcome both on the terrace and in the restaurant. Great service, especially since the change of ownership in 2020 you are NOT begged for tips by a certain waiter in an unfriendly manner (!!!!) Unfortunately, the new burgers and fries are no longer as high quality as they were before, but they are still one of my favorite spontaneous excursion destinations.

Celebrated a great wedding there yesterday 😀. Great location, great area, great team and delicious food. I can really recommend it.

The ambience is very appealing. Great location. On the spacious terrace you have a great view of nature. The dining room is clean and comfortably furnished. The service was attentive and friendly every time. Now for eating. It tastes very good, the ingredients are fresh. The price / performance ratio is absolutely okay. We will come back.

The ambience is nice. You can sit outside by a pond. The card has been revised after the tenant change and so there is something new to discover. I had boiled beef with green sauce and potatoes. The green sauce should have been more plentiful and the potatoes were too manageable for me. My request for a few more potatoes and a little more green sauce was found as a surprise with 1.50 for the sauce and three euros for the potatoes on the bill. The boiled beef thus cost 19.30. At the second meal at the table, the pork loin was ordered with grilled mushrooms and potato hash browns. It came with a mushroom sauce, but the cream sauce had been explicitly canceled due to an intolerance. Unfortunately, no fresh plate was taken, but the old one wiped off. An allergy sufferer knows: Can traces of ... There was not even a side salad for the loin, which costs 4.50 as an extra. As a dessert there was the chocolate cake from the wholesale market. Unfortunately, it was not warmed up briefly, so that the chocolate core could not develop its full taste. The service is friendly and attentive. The potato rösti was outstanding and the green sauce tasted great. Two grilled mushrooms to the loin and a mixed performance of the kitchen lead to an unbearable price / performance ratio

Excellent dishes. Personi I didn't like lamb items here. But chicken items are Yum Yum. Great beer as well.
